Shanghai, China——On September 30, 2019, Shanghai Administration Bureau of Market Supervision and Shanghai Municipal Economic and Information Commission co-organized an exchanging meeting of the 2019 Shanghai key product quality research work experience, which announced the results of the 2019 Shanghai key product quality research projects and individuals. Industrialization upgrading project of Hercules™ Low Profile Thoracic Stent-Graft System was awarded the third prize of the 2019 Shanghai key product quality research achievement award for its technological innovation and industrial management advantages.

Hercules™ Low Profile Thoracic Stent-Graft System（“Hercules™ -LP Stent-Graft”）independently developed by Endovasctec™, which is upgrade product of Hercules™ Thoracic Stent-Graft System, mainly used for interventional treatment of thoracic aortic aneurys. It features a unique proximal tip-capture mechanism, which enables controlled deployment and accurate placement of the stent graft. At the same time, it reduced the diameter of the delivery sheath of the thoracic aortic stent graft to 18F for the first time. It is the thinnest of the similar products of the international thoracic aortic stent graft, which can benefit more patients. Through new technologies, new technologies and new materials, industrialization upgrading project of Hercules™ Low Profile Thoracic Stent-Graft System was selected, which carried out intelligent manufacturing and broke through the key points of quality improvement, achieving lower stent deployment force, lower permeability, higher outer sheath kink force and better positioning accuracy for largest stent.
